Bonded Seals.
Metal-backed elastomer seals for hydraulic and fluid system port sealing. Standard, self-centering and high-pressure variants. NBR and FKM compounds.
The correct seal for every hydraulic port.
A bonded seal combines a metal washer with a vulcanised elastomer inner ring. Tightened onto a flat-face port, the elastomer deforms under the sealing face and creates a leak-free static seal. They are the standard closure for BSP (British Standard Pipe), metric and JIC (Joint Industry Council) hydraulic port connections.
Santoo stocks standard bonded seals in NBR and FKM across BSP and metric sizes, self-centering variants for ease of assembly, and high-pressure versions for elevated system pressures.

Product range.
| Standard bonded seals | NBR and FKM — for BSP and metric hydraulic port connections |
| Self-centering bonded seals | Outer elastomer lip locates in port counterbore — prevents misalignment during assembly |
| High-pressure bonded seals | Reinforced construction for elevated system pressure applications |
| NBR compound | General hydraulic service — mineral oil, water-glycol, HFA/HFB fluids |
| FKM compound | Elevated temperature and fire-resistant fluid service |

Where bonded seals are specified.
Hydraulic manifold and valve port connections, instrumentation fittings, cylinder end cap ports, and fluid system plumbing across oil and gas, marine, water treatment and process industries throughout the GCC.

Common questions.
What is a bonded seal?
A metal washer with an elastomer ring vulcanised to its inner face. Tightened onto a flat port face, the elastomer deforms to create a leak-free seal.
What pressure range do bonded seals cover?
Standard variants for general hydraulic ports. High-pressure variants for elevated system pressures. Both in NBR and FKM.
What is a self-centering bonded seal?
Has an outer elastomer lip that locates in the port counterbore, holding the seal in position during assembly.
