Why this matters in a rebuild context
Third-party seal kits are manufactured to nominal bore dimensions. A rebuilt cylinder, depending on how much material was removed during honing, may require a seal ground to the actual post-honing bore geometry — not a catalogue size. Santoo manufactures the seal after measuring the bore. This is the integration that most workshops cannot offer.
